Travelling Guide to your Holiday in our Self Catering Gite in Corseul Brittany

Corseul is very easy to get to from the main ferry ports, 45 minutes from St Malo, under 2 hours from Caen, just over 2 hours from Cherbourg and the same again from Roscoff.

If you prefer to fly, Dinard airport is only about 25 minutes away, Rennes about an hour and Nantes under two hours.

Eurotunnel is one of the cheaper options, and of course one of the shortest journey times across (or should I say « under ») the Channel, but it is then a 5-hour drive once you hit France.

Toll roads are very common in France in general, but there are none in Brittany, and also, pleasingly, none from Caen or Cherbourg, although they lie in Normandy.

You will most likely approach Corseul from Dinan, which is only 7 km away. When you see the sign « Corseul » you are already nearly there. Look out for the 2 nd turning on the right, which is “Rue de Sonnenbuhl”, where you’ll see a little park and a covoiturage – Rue de la Ville Deneu is the next turning on the right. Be aware it is quite a small turning and don’t be put off by the no access sign “sauf riverains” (except for residents). Once in “Rue de la Ville Deneu” follow it around the chicane and then on your left you will pass the blue gates for no. 5. Continue past the house and park your car on the left-hand side, just beside the staircase, which leads up to the gite entrance.
